The way things are displayed, the little details in the labels, the overall atmosphere — it all gives the impression that the people behind it really wanted visitors to have a good experience.
Those places often feel welcoming in a different way. You do not feel rushed, and you get the sense that every object was chosen and placed with intention.
I always find those museums especially memorable.
