Old railway stations seem almost made for museums. They already have a sense of movement and history, and even the original platforms, ticket windows, clocks, or waiting rooms can become part of the experience.
What I especially like is when the museum isn't necessarily about trains at all—the building simply gets a second life as a cultural space.
