Photographing museum signs before or after a visit

One very useful museum photography habit is taking a quick photo of the museum sign, entrance sign, exhibition title, or gallery introduction.

It may not feel like the most artistic photo at the time, but it can be helpful later. It reminds you where the photos were taken, what the exhibition was called, and how the visit began. For people who visit many museums, these simple sign photos can make it much easier to organise memories afterward.

They can also become nice opening or closing images in a small photo set from the visit.

Do you ever photograph museum signs or exhibition titles to help remember and organise your museum photos later?
