Some cities just feel like they were made for museum lovers. For me, Rome and Paris always come to mind first, but I’ve also had amazing museum days in places like Vienna and Copenhagen where everything is close enough to explore on foot.
What I enjoy most is when a city has a mix of large national museums and smaller, more personal collections. That combination makes it possible to spend several days visiting museums without feeling like you are seeing the same thing again and again.
Which city do you think is the best in the world for museums?
