Do you read almost every label — or mostly follow your eyes?

Everyone seems to have a slightly different way of moving through a museum, and I always find that interesting.

Some people read almost everything. They like the context, the dates, the background, the deeper explanation that helps each object or artwork make more sense. For them, the labels are a big part of the experience.

Others are more instinctive. They look first, respond first, and only read when something especially catches their attention. Too much text can slow the visit down for them, so they prefer to let their eyes lead and only stop for details when they feel drawn to something.

Most of us are probably somewhere in between, but I do think we tend to lean one way or the other.

And the truth is, both approaches can be rewarding. One creates a richer sense of context, while the other can feel more immediate and personal.

So I would love to know how other people do it.
